This is a great spot. If you happen to be in the area, it’s worth a stop. They are a coffee roaster, but have a nice little cafe with a few tables to sit at. They offer mostly espresso based drinks but also do pour overs and cold brew.

If I could be friends with a cafe, this would be it. Calusa has a great chill home-y vibe with kind owners cultivating relationships with regular customers. This place is great for the serious coffee aficionado. The atmosphere reminds me of the Broward I grew up with when there were still more trees, less apartments and more cows around. There is plenty of shaded outdoor seating and cozy indoor seating. If indoors, you get to see where they roast their coffee. The food and coffee menu isn't extensive: it's a no-frills place that's serious about the coffee quality instead of making unicorn double-stuffed popping pearl lattes. And the food menu is small but everything I've tried has been excellent. I've had their cheese danish, banana bread, vegan empanadas, quiche and croissants. I've bought beans from them quite often too. The quality and the down-to-earth service keeps me and a lot of other people returning often. I truly love this place and every chance I get, I bring friends, family and my dog to hang out under the trees.

Cute little spot. The guy who helped me was a younger guy with a buzz cut. I didn’t get his name but he was really nice. I got an iced latte with a croissant for a good price and they were worth it. Although I was there when it was raining, they have plenty of seating outside for when the weather is nice. I’d suggest this place if you’re close by and I’d definitely come back Thank you!

What a great find from Dennis, a regular. As Luis the owner welcomes everyone, the terrazzo floor and place is great. Indoor outdoor. Friendly community that seem to all be regulars. Roasts the coffee here. Nice to give to a local, a vetaran, it’s fresh. And not Starbucks billionaire. This is where I’ll be giving my business.

I would give 4.5 if that was an option, but it is not, so I gave it 5 stars. Calusa is a small coffee house, quite literally a house functioning as a coffee establishment. It was very cute and inviting. They roast the beans in house and you can even watch the process. The service was friendly and welcoming. I had the cappuccino and my bf the latte and we shared a delicious chocolate almond croissant. The coffee was very good and had zero bitterness (a sign of good roasting and brewing techniques). They do not flavor the coffee for you and thus provide a small selection of sweeteners. Overall I enjoyed the ambiance and the coffee. This would be a nice place to go to for a casual date or meetup with a friend. The inside is pretty small with limited seating. I would not recommend for very large groups.

Adorable little place I must have driven by a million times. Today I needed some coffee and as an aded bonus I bought a Chocolate Croissant. Or I thought it was. It did have chocolate on top but what I didn't bargain for was the almond center. I hate almond anything in my baked goods but I took a bite before I realized what it was. What it was was delicious. I have never had such a yummy pastry. And it was pretty huge. So, I can have some for tomorrow. My iced Mocha something was perfect and kept me going through my morning work routine. This is a great place to stop by before you hit the freeway off Commercial. And I recommend you do. Sorry no photos, but you should go in and see for yourself.

So happy I stumbled upon this gem! Calusa roasts their coffee beans in house and what a lovely scent to walk into when you're jonesing a cup of joe. I look forward to future visits and trying more on the menu.
